Christian sources the rough stones, cuts them to the best of his ability and teaches me how to calculate risk, how to find the best way to achieve a vein of color between glimpses, a glimmer of brilliance. I raise my eyes higher and discover remarkable stones in sets, necklaces, bracelets and earrings woven with incredible finesse and subtlety of color; I finally rise to meet Jacinta&#8217;s big smile. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify opal-texte-grand wp-block-paragraph\">Since then, my desire to turn our stones into jewelry has grown, and I&#8217;ve never forgotten Jacinta&#8217;s talent. Naturally, I wanted to offer her a partnership because some of our opals are perfect for her technique and art. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify opal-texte-grand wp-block-paragraph\">This beautiful human encounter blends our worlds with elegance and finesse. This journey from workshop to boutique offered me incredible encounters and unique moments of sharing, for which I thank all these passionate and incredible craftsmen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify opal-texte-grand wp-block-paragraph\">Close to the Jeanne d&#8217;Arc dungeon, I was lucky enough to meet the Joaillier de l&#8217;atelier du Beffroy, who first placed his trust in me. Christian was doing his Ph.D in organic chemistry and I was doing a diploma in plastics chemistry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify opal-texte-grand wp-block-paragraph\">He was already telling me about opals, especially black Australian ones, and, intrigued, I ordered one mounted as a pendant from a jeweller to give him as a gift to congratulate him on his brilliant Ph.D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify opal-texte-grand wp-block-paragraph\">It was the first in a very, very, very long series, so long that I now need to set up a company to bring some order to this profusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify opal-texte-grand wp-block-paragraph\">Initially, he collected them, then cut them, then mounted them. I told myself that the passion would extend to other stones, but no! With a few recreational exceptions, my Christian remained stuck in opal mode, fascinated by their colorful sparkles and always insatiable to see those of the next one appear.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify opal-texte-grand wp-block-paragraph\">In the meantime, and during all those years of cutting, I ended up developing my own skills in photography, particularly macro photography!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify opal-texte-grand wp-block-paragraph\">The pile-up took place during the covid, and a small idea of crazy enthusiasts was born: to join forces to develop, accelerate, share and take our passions up 10 notches each to better interweave them and continue together stronger on our common ground.
